Caroline Broder is a partner and lead content strategist at Steadfast Communications, where she brings more than 15 years of experience creating content and developing communications strategies to help researchers and nonprofit organizations communicate their work to the media, the public and policymakers.
In addition, she has guided media relations for a number of large organizations, government agencies and foundations, including Abt Associates, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Her work as garnered coverage in major media outlets such as CNN, NPR, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
Caroline spent the first five years of her career as a reporter covering technology policy on Capitol Hill. She later served as a health care technology reporter and editor for publications such as Healthcare IT News and iHealthBeat.
She satisfies her desire to ask questions for a living as a co-host of Through the Noise, a podcast about the business of nonprofits and associations. She serves as a legislative lead for the Maryland chapter of Moms Demand Action, the nation’s largest grassroots gun violence prevention organization.
